100mm Lightweight Drop Point AEB-L

100mm drop point made from AEB-L stainless steel hardened to 61 rockwell, with a light weight cord wrapped handle.

AEB-L is a stainless steel originally developed for use in razor blades. It is one of the toughest stainless steels on the market. It can reach and handle high hardness levels, thin edges with acute angles and is very resistant to chipping and breaking.
It does not have the abrasion resistance of higher end powder metallurgy steels like magnacut or s35vn but still holds an excellent edge and outperforms almost all carbon and simple tool steels in this regard.
It is easy steel to sharpen and maintain and these attributes combined with good corrosion resistance make it a very user friendly steel and an excellent choice for a hard working knife.
