The blade has an s-grind, which are the concave sections ground into the blade. This dramatically improves food release and reduces the suface friction while cutting. The s-grind combined with an extremely fine sharp edge will give outstanding performance in the kitchen.
The handle is made from stabilized western myall, an extremely dense desert hardwood native to the arid regions of southern Australia.
