85mm drop point knife made from 52100 high carbon steel hardened to 61hrc.
The handle is wrapped hardened leather. I do this by soaking a strip of leather in water, tightly wrapping the hanlde and then baking it. This shrinks and hardens the leather, locking it onto the handle.
This is a similar process to how leather armor was hardened back in the day. It makes a durable, grippy handle that will patina nicely with use.
It comes with a matching kydex/leather sheath with pocket clip.

This is a carbon steel knife so it can rust if left wet or dirty.
When my carbon steel knives get spots of rust or stain on them I oil them and the scrub with a scotch brite. This removes any surface rust but can leave a darker mark on the blade. Over time and repetition the entire blade will darken and develop a patina that gives good rust protection.
